Includes Coaching

In this training, educators explore effective systems for collecting, organizing, and managing screening data in K–12 settings. Designed for teachers, staff, administrators, and ESC staff, the content emphasizes analyzing screening data to identify trends and patterns that inform instructional decision-making. Participants learn how to connect screening data to appropriate student-level interventions, enabling evidence-based support that addresses individual needs. By the end of the training, educators will be prepared to use screening data to improve student outcomes and strengthen their multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS).

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Develop efficient systems for collecting and managing screening data.
  • Analyze screening data to identify trends and areas of need.
  • Use data to plan evidence-based interventions.
  • Monitor student response and adjust supports using ongoing data.

Coaching Support Included

This training includes a coaching component delivered by experts at each regional education service center to help educators apply what they’ve learned with confidence and fidelity. Coaching provides personalized, job‑embedded support grounded in four research‑based practices proven to strengthen instruction: alliance-building, observation, modeling, and performance feedback.

Educators and coaches complete a three‑step coaching cycle—pre‑observation, observation, and performance feedback—to reinforce training content and improve implementation. Coaching is designed to fit flexibly into your existing schedule and enhance your work, not add to it.
