30 different ethics challenges to complete and obtain a certificate for educational sign language interpreters

This certification program is offered to train presently certified teachers to become Teachers of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing in the State of Texas. The express goal is to increase the number of certified teachers of the deaf, especially in dire needs areas across the state.

This course is intended to assist pre-certified sign language interpreters preparing to take the TEP by targeting specific English language skills pertinent to the test. This course is asynchronous and can be completed on your own time.

The Educational Sign Language Interpreter Mentor Project is a free, virtual program offered each year from October through May with the intention of helping pre-certified sign language interpreters gain certification. To participate, applicants must be currently employed in a K–12 educational

This Initiative provides funding to candidates through a grant from TEA to cover tuition for courses needed for the deafblind Graduate Certificate.
