This training of trainers prepares participants to guide educators in promoting meaningful family and community engagement within an MTSS framework. Participants will learn how to:
  • emphasize shared learning,
  • honor contributions from both educators and families, and
  • apply collaborative strategies for data sharing and decision-making.

  • Capacity for the TOT = 60 participants

Prerequisites for the TOT

To register for this training of trainers, participants must already hold a TIER Essentials, Essentials+, MTSS Foundations, or District Leadership Team certification. Designated ESC staff members without a TIER certificate must complete the following Canvas courses on TEA Learn as a prerequisite:
