Fall 2026 TOT-Building Partnerships with Families and Communities
This training of trainers prepares participants to guide educational leaders in strengthening partnerships among schools, families, and communities within a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS). The training builds participants' capacity to lead the development of responsive engagement practices that enhance student success. Participants explore the unique educational needs of families and caregivers and examine how understanding these needs improves student outcomes, preparing them to guide others in applying this understanding.
The training highlights specific student populations, including military-connected students and youth experiencing foster care, and equips participants with tools and strategies to guide educational leaders in supporting academic and non-academic success for these groups. Participants also learn practical approaches for building and sustaining partnerships with families, caregivers, and community organizations, leveraging community resources to create responsive MTSS systems that meet the needs of all students.
