Features of Effective Instruction: What to Look for

This resource provides a list of effective instructional features teachers can use when planning instruction, but it can also be used by administrators and instructional coaches when observing, coaching and supporting teachers. The resource was designed to accompany the “Creating the Instructional Program” pathway (training). It is recommended that training is completed prior to using this tool. There are two options to complete this training. Find and contact a regional MTSS specialist to enroll in a synchronous course, or enroll for an asynchronous course.
