Universal Examples of PBIS Implementation

This course explores Universal (Tier 1) Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), equipping educators with strategies to foster a positive school climate. Designed for PK-12 teachers, staff, administrators, and ESC personnel, this course supports those launching or refining their universal PBIS implementation. Through real-world examples from elementary, middle, and high school educators, participants gain practical insights into evidence-based PBIS implementation and ways to strengthen their practices.

After completing the pathway, learners will be able to:

  • Implement effective PBIS team processes.
  • Develop data-informed guidelines for success and expectations.
  • Use lessons in common areas, classrooms, and social competencies to build student connections.
  • Apply effective strategies for monitoring behavior and providing positive feedback.
