Targeted PBIS Implementation

This training focuses on Targeted (Tier 2) positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) and helps educators strengthen systems for delivering effective Tier 2 interventions. Designed for PK-12
teachers, staff, administrators, and ESC personnel with a foundational understanding of PBIS, the workshop builds understanding of how Tier 2 fits within the three-tiered framework and emphasizes the systems, practices, and data needed for successful implementation. To apply their learning,
participants will complete a Tier 2 inventory and create an actionable implementation plan.

During this training, learners will:
• Deepen their knowledge of the PBIS three-tiered framework
• Explore the connections between Tier 1 and Tier 2 systems
• Analyze the critical components of effective Tier 2 systems
