TOT-Academics: Writing Instruction: Elementary
Training Details
Trainers will learn how to prepare educators to explore effective elementary writing instructional practices within the context of an MTSS framework. This Training of Trainers (TOT) will emphasize guiding others in understanding the importance of writing instruction, writing development, and progress monitoring across all three tiers. This TOT is for ESC staff only.
Close date for registration: Monday, April 14, 2025 or earlier if the TOT reaches capacity.
Audience
This training is designed for ESC staff responsible for training and implementing MTSS, specifically in the area of writing.
Prerequisites
In order to register, participants must already hold a TIER Essentials+ certification. Designated ESC staff members without this TIER certification must complete the following Canvas courses on TEA Learn as a prerequisite.
Please enroll in each course and complete by Monday, April 14, 2025. Participants who do not complete Canvas courses will be withdrawn from the training.
