Suggestions to Address the Loss of Team Momentum

(upbeat music) - They may lose momentum. And I think momentum is that unseen urge or to kind of keep going, to keep learning, keep trying, keep innovating. What I would do with a team like that is get them out of the school and go do something fun. The second thing I would do is find out or dig a little deeper and see if there's something going on within each individual's personal or professional life that's getting in the way of them doing their best work. And that would probably require some, you know some one on one conversations. I think sometimes when people lose their momentum, it, you know, they've gotten to a rut of doing the same thing over and over again. So as a coach, I might bring in to a coaching session, a new tool, a new, for students. I might show a video that shows a new and interesting practice. I might introduce a fun activity, a cooperative activity into my team meeting. And again, these things can take, you know, five minutes or less. I might get people up, I might say, okay, we're gonna have this meeting while we stand, while we stand up and do some yoga poses. You know, get people moving. So I think the same kinds of strategies that you can use with kids when they've kind of, they've lost their get up and go. You would do with adults as well.
