(upbeat rhythmic music) - So one of the biggest successes this year for my classroom was we had a child who was sent to a different district for services that we could not provide. And because we started this structured learning classroom, we were able to provide the services that he needed and the appropriate support that he needed to be successful in his classroom. So this year he came back to us and his progress was phenomenal. He was able to attend music classes with the general led children.
He was able to go out to recess with the rest of the children. Previously, he had severe behavior issues that would injure other children, and we saw none of that this year. He was not aggressive, he was not defiant. He had an amazing turnaround.
Because of the level of structure that my classroom provided and the amount of coaching that was provided to me, we were able to help him and now he's moving on to the middle school and they're going to continue the structured learning classroom for him at the middle school.
