The Special Education Performance Diagnostic (SPD) provides school systems with a framework for understanding the overall health of their special education system. The framework is organized around levers, essential actions, and key practices that define what school systems should do to ensure that students with disabilities are effectively served in schools. This collection of resources helps school systems learn more about the SPD and prepare for training and use in the 2026-2027 school year. Additional resources will be added to the collection as they are developed.
